On the 16th day of construction, the slab was done. I visited the site this afternoon to find out what happened. I know that today should be a good day to lay it because there’s no rain in the forecast up to the weekend.
Our site manager Greg Hall contacted me yesterday to let me know that the box is ready and the base should be ready today. He also told me that base maximum strength will be a achieved in 28 days. Though it will take 28 days for the slab to cure, they can start the frame works in a week
time.

This happened in just a flash. I wasn’t able to see how they pour the slab. I sneaked in lunch time hoping I could witness and take photos of the actual pouring. It was done when I got to the site at about quarter past 12.

Because the base is now finished, Its gonna be 5 to 7 days before they can start the framing. They will allow a decent time for the slab to cure. Base on Mymetricon account which i check often lately, the frame is scheduled to commence the 1st of September. Really this gets me and Dang excited and looking forward for the days ahead.
Since I am not expecting any changes in a couple of days, I will not visit the site tomorrow. I’m gonna bring my family instead on Saturday to the site to show them what are the accomplishment for the past week.
