The next stage after the base is the frame. First, they gonna start the wall frame. Its the 3rd week of the construction and so far, I can say we’re pretty impress on how they work. They move a bit faster than we expected. When I visited the site yesterday, the wall frames are already up. For the first time, I saw the structure of the house. The space allocations of the rooms, toilets, garage, kitchen etc…

Its pretty amazing how they do it in just a couple of days. On my way home, I visited the site. I found More supports and braces were added on the wall frames. Window glasses were also sighted sitting on the ground. They might fit those windows tomorrow.

Our site manager Greg Hall of Metricon rang me yesterday and reported that they are starting the frames. Soon they’ll gonna start the roof frames, facia & gutters.
Wall frames were finished in 2 days.

Checking our account at mymetricon, it says they gonna start the roof framing tomorrow and will be finished 9 Sept.
Here’s the screenshot of the construction status dated 3 Sept. 09 in our mymetricon account.

We also got the billing 2 days ago from our builder Metricon. They are now requesting payment for the base which they recently finished. I re faxed them this morning our request to our bank “Commonwealth Bank” to process the payment for stage 1 completion.
