We’re on our final stage of house construction and everything is coming together. As planned these following items were done.
1. Carpets were laid.
2. Shower screens were fitted.
3. Window fly screens fitted.
4. Bricks were cleaned.
Tomorrow I will swing pass to the site and check the rendering of the portico. It was reported that downpipes will be installed too now that the bricks were cleaned.
As per conversation to Greg our construction manager, these are the items that will be accomplish next week.
1. Site cleaning including removal of trades toilet at the front of the house.
2. Painters will be back to do touch ups.
3. Final fit offs will be done including some carpentries.
4. He will schedule the pavers for the garage. ( Should be done last week of Nov or early Dec.)
Basically he is saying that we are getting close and though he wont commit, he is hoping we could move-in before Christmas.
Its a bit tricky though, December is considerably a dead month especially with the trades persons because most of them are on holidays. He said most of the trades will be off starting 18 of Dec. and come back 2nd week of January. If that happens, we might be able to move in if not before Christmas, it will be late January or early February.
Here is the latest screen shot of the construction progress.
